Vanessa Polk, Graduate Student Researcher

Vanessa Polk is a student in UC Berkeley's School of Public Health, specializing in health policy and management. She holds a BA in history from Washington University in Saint Louis, with minors in business and Spanish.

Prior to coming to Berkeley, she was a field sales representative at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in the neuroscience division and has also worked in corporate finance. Ms. Polk is currently an intern in the Healthcare Economics and Outcomes Research group at Abbott Vascular.

At BCHT, Ms. Polk's research focuses on policies, developments, and trends relating to the medical device industry.
